Belgian born and raised in Paris, France, Emilie was influenced from an early age on by her father,
himself an enthusiastic amateur photographer.
At the age of 17, Emilie was taking a photography course at Exeter summer school
in the USA where she printed her first black and white photographs.
One particular picture made one of Emilie’s teacher comment: "This photograph could be in Vogue",
this comforted her in undertaking a career as a photographer.
After graduation at INRACI in Brussels, Belgium, she went on to become a freelance photographer,
balancing her time between corporate and artistic work. In 2009, Emilie decided to develop her
artistic career further and enrolled in a master’s program at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
Now she lives in Hong Kong developing her art.
